Spend a night outdoors on the 51³Ô¹Ïapp campus in support of a local homelessness charity.
On Tuesday 22 March, staff and students will face the elements overnight for a glimpse of what many people in the city experience on a nightly basis.
We’re looking for students to raise awareness of the issue of homelessness in Leicester and the reality of sleeping rough by joining The Big Sleep and spending a night under the stars with only cardboard, a sleeping bag and a flask.
We’ll be setting up the sleeping area outside the Food Village and would like staff and students to get behind the cause and sign up.
You'll be encouraged to raise funds through asking friends and families to sponsor you.
All funds raised will go to , a Leicester-based charity who support the homeless community by providing a range of support to people in the city who find themselves with nowhere to go and no one to turn to.
