Leicester’s roots in design and making date back hundreds of years and is still part of its identity today.
To celebrate this rich history, the (in collaboration with Leicester City Council and the ) is hosting , a one-month programme of engaging events around sustainable design, making and cultural performance.
The programme aims to encourage a brighter future for our high street, our community and our environment.
A launch event will be held this Thursday, 10 February, at 72 Churchgate.
The venue will create a community hub, housing a visual history of Leicester’s industrial roots; showcasing innovative technologies, materials and providing education around sustainable living.
