Join FIFA Masters alumni and the Director of the International Centre for Sports History and Culture (ICSHC) at De 51³Ô¹Ïapp University for a panel discussion about women's sport.
As part of a series of events to recognise This Girl Can during the month of November, we welcome you to join our first event of the series: a panel discussion led by Professor Martin Polley, Director, International Centre for Sports History and Culture and Professor of History at De 51³Ô¹Ïapp University.
Professor Polley will be joined by alumni from the International MA in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport (FIFA Master) which has been ranked the number one course in Europe eight times by the SportBusiness International global rankings.
The free online event will take place on Wednesday 4 November from 5 - 6.30pm.

Violet Jubane
Voilet is the FIFA Master graduate 20th Edition. She is currently employed at the Zimbabwe Football Association - Central Region.
Violet is a member of the Young African Leaders Initiative and in 2019 she participated in the Mandela Washington Fellowship under the Business Leadership Track. Violet is a start-up enthusiast and recently she founded Sports Redeem, a sports consulting company based in Zimbabwe. She is passionate about promoting gender equality in sport and through her organisation she organises women empowerment programmes. In 2019, Violet was nominated Zimbabwe delegate to participate in the 59th International Session for Young Participants organised by International Olympic Academy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from Midlands State University in Zimbabwe and also graduated from Nelson Mandela University with the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sport Management. In 2017, she was part of the COSAFA Women's Championship Local Organizing Committee responsible for all protocol duties.
Thuba Sibanda
Thuba, a FIFA Master graduate, is the Program Director at Physically Active Youth Namibia, a sport for development organisation operating in marginalised and informal communities of Namibia, where she uses sport as an enabler to educate, empower and transform communities one young person at a time.
Also a FIFA women's football technical expert, Thuba is the Head Coach of the University of Namibia women's football team and a passionate speaker and advocate for female empowerment and leadership in sport.
Off the sports wagon, she dons caps as a writer, blogger and consultant in strategy, project management and leadership. Her story that starts in the township of Mpopoma in Zimbabwe and builds onto her life transforming journey with the FIFA Master. Now, to her work in sport and youth empowerment in Africa making her a passionate advocate on the power of dreaming beyond your circumstances and chasing to reality our near-impossible dreams.
Evita Schippers
Evita is a FIFA Master graduate, BT Sport's Ultimate Goal and a researcher in the Field of Racism in Football and Social Media.
