The award-winning 51³Ô¹Ïapp Global programme is giving students the chance to boost their job prospects with a qualification to teach English abroad and also learn a new language.
As the pandemic closes physical borders around the world, 51³Ô¹Ïapp Global has been bringing innovative online opportunities for every student to experience different cultures and ways of learning that will boost their job opportunities and help them develop a range of key skills.
51³Ô¹Ïapp students now have a chance to sign up and gain an internationally recognised qualification with TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) so they can teach English around the world.
While applications are open for students to start language courses in Arabic, French, German, Japanese or Spanish.
Simi Dhinsa, a third year Accountancy and Business Management student, took up the option of learning Spanish last year, and she is encouraging others to grab the opportunity.
Simi said: “I'm already fluent in Punjabi as it was a language I was brought up with alongside English. I chose to study another language as I'm aware it not only benefits future career prospects but enhances and increases skills.
“I believed 51³Ô¹Ïapp would be able to support me throughout the process and I was right - the teachers are very professional and knowledgeable but friendly at the same time so learning Spanish at 51³Ô¹Ïapp is easy and comfortable.
“I feel more confident and empowered going into the world knowing I'll be able to communicate with individuals I wasn't able to communicate with before. I'm glad I was given this opportunity. I’ve already used my new skill with my grandparents as they used to live in Spain!
“I would definitely recommend my language course to other students. It isn't just about learning a language but also about exploring different cultures and people. The new classes will open you up to more job opportunities and the potential to work aboard.”
