, a celebration of South Asian arts and culture, is taking place on Saturday 17 August (1pm-7pm) and Sunday 18 August (12noon-7pm) at Abbey Park.
The family-friendly celebration hosts diverse performances from dance schools, to Dhol players, live music, local artists and DJs. There will also be food stalls serving delicious street foods including samosa, bhajis, and kulfi ice cream which can be washed down with a masala chai or fresh coconut juice.
The event also hosts a popular Indian shopping bazaar with stalls selling vibrant clothes, glamorous jewellery and a variety of tempting Indian sweets. There is also a puppet show, workshops, henna artists, a fun fair, and much more.
