Be Safe, Get the Covid-19 vaccine
Now the majority of lockdown restrictions have been lifted, Covid-19 vaccination remains the most vital weapon in defeating the virus and protecting public health. Two doses of the various vaccines on offer protect against all of the variants and are highly effective at reducing hospitalisations and deaths. Vaccination is also having a positive impact on transmission rates.
Therefore, the Government is increasing its calls for younger age groups and others not vaccinated to or by calling 119 or get jabbed at local drop-in clinics wherever available.
We strongly encourage all of our students and staff yet to be vaccinated to book your vaccine as soon as you are able to do so. Getting vaccinated is crucial to protecting yourself, classmates, loved ones and others in the community. Vaccination is also our collective passport to enjoying a more normal campus experience and to get back to doing the things we love in our personal lives.
