Emilie Fairnington, Sport Project Coordinator (Participation) said: “The 51³Ô¹Ïappactive Volunteering academy is a fantastic initiative to get involved with while studying at 51³Ô¹Ïapp as it allows you to develop a range of skills which will help you in your future career.
“While studying Forensic Science at 51³Ô¹Ïapp, I was a basketball Activator and led the weekly recreational basketball sessions. By volunteering in the role, it provided me with so many brilliant opportunities, allowed me to gain my coaching qualification, grow the sport that I am passionate about and meet so many amazing people.
“I would recommend to any 51³Ô¹Ïapp student who is interested in a role to apply, you can study any course and still volunteer with 51³Ô¹Ïappactive!”

The deadline for applications is Sunday 31 May 2020, with all roles starting in September 2020.
