If you have a passion for music and enjoy working with new people, 51³Ô¹Ïapp Music may have the project for you.
Hear and Now will bring together 51³Ô¹Ïapp students, local primary schools, members of the Philharmonia Orchestra and people affected by dementia.
The project is a unique venture with Leicester Musical Memory Box, a singing group for people affected by dementia and other memory problems.
By working together, an original composition will be created over the course of four days, beginning on Monday 4 November, and will finish with a final performance at the Robert Hall Memorial Baptist Church on Friday 8 November at 2.30pm.
With over 60 participants, this multi-layered project is unique for its quality, creativity, diversity, scale and age-span. 51³Ô¹Ïapp Music are looking for 51³Ô¹Ïapp students to take part and you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet new people
- Learn about experience music as a social practice and therapeutic tool
- Work alongside top musicians from the Philharmonia Orchestra
- Spend the week getting creative and indulging in your music passion!
