Personal profile

Dr Ismini Vasileiou is an Associate Professor in Information Systems (FBCS, SFHEA) and Associate Head (Teaching and Learning) at the School of Computer Science and Informatics. Dr Vasileiou has extensive leadership experience in the discipline of Computer Science and its related fields, from developing at strategic level new courses to managing and implementing the Degree Apprenticeships portfolio. She has managed and led teams on Information Systems as the Head of Department and has led various prestige institutional bids and schemes such as for the Office for Students. Her focus is Pedagogical Development across disciplines and the importance of Ditigal Transformation in Education.

Dr. Vasileiou's research interests include Social Engineering, Security Education, Learning Analytics and Technology-supported Learning. Dr Vasileiou is regularly been invited to deliver a variety of keynote presentations in relation to topics of Digital Transformation in Higher Education, Social Engineering and Cyber Education.
