Personal profile

I am currently pursuing my PhD in “Comparison of Electromagnetic data with irregular or discontinuous surfaces using the Feature Selective Validation method” under the supervision of Professor Alistair Duffy at Institute of Engineering Sciences. 
I obtained my Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Dr.Dharmambal Women’s’ Polytechnic college, Chennai, India in 2012. Followed by a Bachelors in Electronics and Communication from MNM Jain Engineering college affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, India in 2015 and MSc in Electronic Engineering from De 51³Ô¹Ïapp University (51³Ô¹Ïapp), Leicester, UK in 2017. 

Previously, I had worked in Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Programmer Analyst for one of the ‘big six’ Energy company in the UK for Data Communication Company (DCC) Smart metering programme in verifying commissioning of physical meters and in-house displays with the DCC SMETS2 communication hubs. I have also worked with other IT technology infrastructure systems built in Oracle, SAP, UNIX and Web/Mobile Based systems.

Moreover, I have been working as a part-time lecturer at 51³Ô¹Ïapp which involves teaching skills in areas such as Electromagnetics, 5G Antenna design and Communication systems. These teaching skills allows me to create new ideas for my research in Feature selective validation (FSV) method. 

The FSV method is based on decomposition of the original data into amplitude data and feature data. It is implemented by comparing two data sets over a common frequency/time window. This method has been applied for various structured data. My research involves investigation to develop FSV method to compare irregular/discontinuous data such as surface currents output of an antenna. 

I am accredited with GRADE 4 in PIANO by TRINITY COLLEGE OF LONDON. As it comes to my hobbies, playing piano is my primary passion; which I find incredibly fun and satisfying.

Comparison of Electromagnetic data with irregular or discontinuous surfaces using the Feature Selective Validation method

Abstract

In the field of Computational Electromagnetics, validation is formal process to ensure the expected behavior of the model. The FSV (Feature Selective Validation) FSV method was originally developed to aid the validation of computational electromagnetics. Since then, it has been adopted by IEEE Standard 1597.1 and used in a variety of other applications. The FSV method compares the original data using reliability function based on the decomposition of the data into a number of component parts that are then combined using a weighted scheme.

The FSV method has been applied for various structured data as in S-parameter, radiation pattern, efficiency and gain of an antenna. My research involves investigation to develop FSV method to compare irregular/discontinuous data such as surface currents output of an antenna.
