Anti-microbial Peptide Hydrogel for Topical Applications & as Lubricants for Catheters

PhD project abstract

Functionalized peptide hydrogel nanofibers with anti-microbial peptides
(AMPs) purposely designed to overcome antibiotic resistance. Those materials are expected to exhibit inherent antibacterial activity; combined with their viscoelastic mucoadhesive nature making them a good platform for anti-microbial topical applications in various conditions.
