Personal profile

Dr. Sara Marquez-Gallardo is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Industries. Her research focuses on exploring organisational responses to disruptive digital technologies, using qualitative research methods. She tackles questions related to technological innovation, such as how publishers respond to the digitalisation and dematerialisation of knowledge production and how scholarly publishers transition towards Open Access. She is also interested in how industries respond to societal change, in particular, in how the fashion industry is responds to changes in gender identity.
